Let’s Talk
About the Firm. And the Method.
Complex problems rarely respect organizational boundaries. Neither do we.
Digital Metamorphosis Solutions works at the intersection of information, technology, governance and operations. We don’t begin with a product. We begin with the problem.
Founded by Jessica Nilsen in February 2024, after twenty years of being called in once the platform was already bought and still failing to do what anyone actually needed.
Diagnose Honestly. Then Build Once.
How This Firm Operates
Jessica knows every project in the firm and exactly what each person on the team is working on. Specialists do the work they are best at, and she stays personally accountable for the outcome you were promised.
Every recommendation traces back to something observed in your operation, whether that is a workflow walked end to end or a stack of invoices nobody had read side by side before.
If the honest answer is a smaller fix than you came in asking for, that is the answer you get. If the right build belongs with somebody else, you will hear that too.
You should be able to describe your own system to a new hire without opening a manual. Jargon usually hides a design decision that nobody finished making.
A Better Way to Work
The technology matters. But technology without governance, ownership, usable information and workable processes simply automates the problem.
What We Work On
Our work spans enterprise content management, information governance, records management, data governance, migrations, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OpenText, privacy, workflow, architecture and digital transformation because real organizational problems routinely cross all of them.
What the Failures Had in Common
Every failed programme we were called in to rescue broke in the same four places, and not one of them was the product.
The platform was selected before anyone decided how data would be structured, where it would live, or how it would move between systems.
Four systems each holding a version of the same customer or asset, with no agreement anywhere about which one is authoritative.
Reference data owned by whoever typed it first, so reporting never reconciled and eventually nobody trusted the numbers.
Each system scoped in isolation, so every handoff between them quietly became manual work that nobody had budgeted for.
The Experience Behind That Claim
Regulated industries do not give you the option of nearly right. A retention schedule either survives the audit or it does not. A migration either carries every file or it loses something a regulator will eventually ask for.
Insurance
Business Solutions Consultant for more than ten years. Enterprise content, records and data archiving inside a regulated insurer.
Where the standard was set.
Defense
Programme delivery in an environment where documentation control was never optional and every revision had to be traceable.
Control as a default, not a phase.
Medical Devices
Content and compliance systems built and maintained under FDA-regulated conditions, where an audit finding carries real consequence.
Governance that holds up under examination.
Utility
Records, data and compliance obligations at grid scale, including work across Edison Mission Energy.
Volume without losing the thread.
Consumer Scale
Information systems operating at consumer volume, where the architecture decisions show up immediately or not at all.
Architecture under load.
Integration
SAP and ECM integration across enterprise programmes, joining systems that were never designed to speak to one another.
The handoffs nobody scoped.
Government
A municipal parks and recreation district. Information governance programme, retention schedule and public records readiness, delivered end to end.
Defensible when the request arrives.
Small Business
Construction and specialty services operators. Microsoft 365, SharePoint and workflow built around how the crews actually work.
Enterprise rigor, sized properly.
Credentials
Microsoft Cloud Partner and Managed Services Provider, which is how the Microsoft 365 and SharePoint work gets licensed, built and supported directly.
Certified partner of Outback Imaging for production capture and records, covering the scanning and classification end of the document lifecycle.
Member of the Anthropic partner network, which is where the AI readiness work is grounded rather than improvised.
Clients sit across the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.
Thirty minutes, no pitch. You leave with a clear read on the real problem either way.
